Ferrari Victorious At Bahrain Grand Prix

Fernando Alonso has won the first round of the 2010 Formula One season. Followed by his team mate Felipe Massa.


This also means that Ferrari are top of the leader board for constructors champion following this fantastic one-two finish.


English fellowmen Lewis Hamilton came in 3rd after starting fourth on the grid clinching 15 points. Hamilton’s’ team mate and reigning world champion Jenson Button came in at 7th place gaining 6 points for drivers table and a total of 21 combined for the McLaren-Mercedes team.


Vettel had problems losing power towards the end of the race losing place after place, radio communication from Vettel to his team heard a desperate Sebastian Vettle saying:


“Is there anything we can do to fix it?”


Firstly identified as a exhaust problem, later it was confirmed that it was a spark plug that caused the German’s power loss. Vettel finished the race in 4th position in front of Nico Rosberg who finished in 5th.


Seven time world champion Michael Schumacher came a respectable 6th position after starting 7th on the grid.
