Audi Release RS5 Pictures

Audi release pictures early before the official release after ‘leaked’ pictures were released and roaming around on the internet.


Audi are set to launch the RS5 officially at the Geneva Motor Show next week.


Powered by the same 4.2litre V8 engine from the RS4, rumours are that the engine has been tuned to a staggering 444bhp, with Audi’s Quattro system and linked to a S Tronic gearbox means that the Audi RS5 will hit the 60mph mark around the 4 second mark.

The extra power comes from a retuned intake and exhaust system. There also is a new centre differential - which means that 85% of the torque produced from the engine can be sent to the rear wheels, alternatively 75% of power can also be sent to the front wheels thanks to the Quattro system.

On the outside, 19 inch alloy wheels and sports suspension bringing the RS5 20mm lower than other Audi A5s. Optional equipment include 20 inch alloy wheels and ceramic brakes.

The car is scheduled to be launched later on in 2010 around the £60,000 mark.
