Ferrari Reveal The New Ferrari FF
Ferrari today revealed their latest new car, the 650bhp Ferrari FF.
The FF will replace the current model the 612 Scaglietti, which is Ferrariās current four seater. The FF will be the first Ferrari production model to feature four-wheel-drive, the new FF or Ferrari Four will also feature four seats that will accommodate four adults and their luggage. With 450 litres of boot space and a massive 800 litres when the seats are folded down, this is a serious competitor in the 4-seater grand tourer section.
The new car will be powered by a front mounted 6.3litre V12 that produces 651bhp with 504lb/ft of torque, powering the car to 60mph in 3.7 seconds and wont stop until you hit the 208mph top speed.
The car will also feature a magnetorheological damping system, which is clever suspension that can be adjusted in car to many different levels of firmness and also Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes.
Ferrari claim that the four-wheel-drive system, or 4RM named (Route Motrici) is 50% lighter compared to other cars using the same layout of engine and gearbox. The cars electronic system will automatically send power to the front wheels if it senses that the rear wheels are slipping. For most of the time, only the rear wheels are powered.
The new Ferrari FF will be officially unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
