New Mercedes E-Class Estate


Mercedes Benz have launched details of the new E Class Estate due for sale from today.


Mercedes have released details of the new E-Class, which is to include the four models from the E-Class range, the SE, Avantgarde, Sport and the AMG model. The SE model will have in addition to standard equipment, aluminium tri, ‘Artico’ upholstery, 16” alloy wheels and parking sensors. The Avantgarde model will come with a leather interior, black ash wood trim, Bi-Xenon headlights with adaptive high beam, lower suspension, LED DRL (daytime running lights) and 17” alloy wheels. Finally the Sport model will come with 18” AMG alloy wheels, AMG body kit, AMG lowered suspension and interior touches such as a AMG steering wheel and floor mats.

The new E-Class Estate will come packed with new features Easy-Pack Tailgate and Quickfold. It will come with a standard high specification as in the E-Class saloon. Safety features including Attention Assist - which is a drowsiness detection system, Active Bonnet pedestrian system, 9 airbags including knee-bags for the driver.

New technology in the E-Class such as the new Easy-Pack Tailgate and Easy-Pack Quickfold. The Easy-Pack Tailgate will open your tailgate with the key fob remote and automatically raise the load compartment in the boot. The Easy-Pack Quickfold is fold flat technology with a difference, you only need to use one finger to fold down the rear seats to unveil a massive 1950 litres of space.

Seven different engines will be available in the E-Class Estate, three diesel engines and four petrols. Mercedes’s BlueEFFICIENCY system will be in 98% of the E-Class Estate models, which include weight reduction, efficient energy systems and better aerodynamics will ensure better fuel economy.


Prices for the Mercedes E-Class Estate will start at £29,785 for the E200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY SE, £39,475 for the E350 BlueEFFICIENCY Avantgarde, £49,960 for the E500 Sport rising to £73,855 for the E63 AMG version - the flagship model of the E-Class Estate range.
