Tesla Roadster S Launched

Tesla Motors have released the infamous electric super car in the Tesla’s new London showroom.

Based in the Knightsbridge district in London, Tesla’s showroom now houses right-hand-drive version of the iconic sports car released in America last year. The new car released in the UK includes unique noise-reduction materials, upgraded stereo and other enhancements to ensure that the new car can be used on a daily basis.

The Tesla Roadster S is the fastest accelerating car on the road today; it’s faster than a Porsche but yet still uses less energy as Toyota’s Prius. The Tesla will be able to travel more than 200 miles on a single charge - which is charged through the wall socket of your home. A Tesla customer recently set a world distance record in the car recording a massive 313 miles on a single charge.

“The right-hand-drive model is our response to growing demand from high-performance car buyers in the UK who are also interested in their impact on the environment”

he also added;

“Tesla is dramatically expanding its retail footprint in Europe; we look forward to building our community of owners and fans throughout the continent.”

The new car costs 1.5 pence per mile to run, compared to the average 32 pence per mile for more common sports cars, the owners and drivers of the Tesla Roadster S are exempt from paying the London Congestion Charge saving up to £1,700. They can also park their new car for free and no time limits in set London areas.

The Tesla Roaster S is available from £86,950 from the London showroom, 49-51 Cheval Place, London, SE7 1EW.
