New Vans From Renault

Renault UK release two new vans after the launch of the new Master a few weeks ago. The new Kangoo Van Maxi and the Trafic Phase III.


The Renault Kangoo Van Maxi is a new van released by Renault to add to their existing range of Kangoo Van models. The Maxi version is 40cm longer and the current Kangoo Van. The Kangoo Van series will now offer three different versions for flexibility for customers.


A two seater version with have a total load volume of 4.6m3 and a payload of 800kg. A five seater version the Kangoo Van Maxi Crew Van has a payload of 740kg. Different volumes of load can be chosen by the driver/passenger as the rear seat has a 60/40 spilt folding capability.

All Renault Kangoo Van Maxi are fitted with a 1.5dCi 85 engine, which on the combined cycle returns 53.3mpg, they are also fitted as standard with twin sliding doors for easy access to the load space.

The Renault Trafic Phase III has be released with a new look and new features. A new dashboard incorporates a document holder, a storage area above the glove box where vans are not specified with a passenger airbag and centrally positioned stowage spaces for easy access for both driver and passenger. Climate control is standard across the range, Carminat TomTom satellite navigation is also available, as is a CD/MP3 radio player with USB connectivity and is Bluetooth enabled .

The Trafic Phase III is powered by either a 2.0 dCi 115bhp or a 2.5 dCi 150bhp engine, with either a manual or a quick shift semi automatic gearbox.


The new vans are on sale on the 4th June 2010, prices will be announced nearer the date.
