Mazda Offer Scrappage Scheme Prices

Mazda Offer Scrappage Scheme Prices

Mazda UK have announced that they will offer a discount for customers up to £2000 which is the same as the scrappage scheme discount - without having to trade anything in.

Now that the scrappage scheme has come to an end, manufacturers will not be offering £2000 for your old used cars. Mazda announced this new promotion to gain more custom as they feel that the government were discriminating cars less than 10 years old to go to scrap.

Mark Cameron, Sales and Marketing Director of Mazda UK said:

“The Government scrappage scheme was a great way to get new customers into the showroom and remove some of the older, less environmentally friendly cars from the road,” he added

“Now that the Government scrappage fund has run out many manufacturers have launched their own version of the scrappage scheme. In fact, there are now so many different offers with different terms and conditions, some on 10 year old cars and some on seven year old cars, that choosing the best scheme is both difficult and confusing for the customer and requires a car to part exchange or scrap.

With the scrappage scheme resulting in sales of over 10,000 new Mazda vehicles, they know that the scrappage scheme helped their figures, hence Mazda will be offering the prices to all customers, even customers with no trade in car, Mark Cameron commented on this:

“At Mazda we have decided to make our post scrappage offers simple to understand, fair and equitable for all. It does not depend on having an aged car and is open to all customers, ensuring anyone who wants to buy a new Mazda can get a great deal and purchase their perfect car at a fair price.”

If you order your new Mazda before 31st of March 2010, you may even qualify for 0% finance for an even bigger saving (terms and conditions apply)
